Dragoncrest Cliffs we dance to the sound of sirens

When Mallaidh arrived, Artaax turned his head a fraction to watch her approach. She appeared to startle a bit over the sight of him (read: ONLY him, not Blixen), but recovered enough to slip into place beside the mud pile. He himself didn't react other than to peer wordlessly at her for a few seconds longer than usual, but then he was turning away and watching others file in and Blixen step up to speak.

Outwardly, Artaax didn't flinch at the overly lengthy (in his opinion) monologue. Inside, he was gritting his teeth hard. Blixen clearly had more to learn from heda if she felt it was somehow necessary to request the opinions of her wolves. The how does that sound? made him want to groan and give the most epic eye roll of all time, but he had learned what he'd needed to from their mother and held his opinions tight inside. She might not yet be acting like a commander, but she still was one now. He wouldn't criticize her in front of others, but he did make a mental note to totally go run to nomi after this and tell her how Blixen had asked instead of commanded the first time she'd gathered her kru before her.
