back to the old stomping grounds.
the beachcombed sylph hopped from stone to stone-- bounding over rocks, not really being as careful as she ought to be-- although it was a non-issue to her. winds gently pulsed against her coat as her steps became one with them. a true sylph, she was, in that moment. waves lightly crashed against the cliffside as stones broke off, getting lost in the abyss below. the waters were unforgiving and knew no mercy, and no matter how comfortable she was around them, she knew the ocean demanded great respect: and respect, it shall get.
it wasn't long before finch came across a figure, in the distance; a sihlouette; ghastly and tempting. curiousity struck her like thunder, what was someone doing up here? she watched, observed, intently for several minutes as the sihlouette stood tall amongst the backdrop of a cloud-covered sky-- before a sudden gale reared its might, as if it were angry at this creature for standing oh so close to the ledge. she watched as the position changed, what once stood tall and confidently now huddled closer to the ground, crawling backwards as the winds had demanded. finch moves from her position, trekking over to this other in a hurry, hoping they were not injured-- the winds, also, knew no mercy. before long she reaches the stranger, slowly padding up to him, ,,are you okay?'' her question came as she stood a safe distance away.
