it made sense that, although it was a man's job to tend to the borders, a woman would be the first to approach. after all, while he was busy working hard and providing for the pack... she had little to do except maybe collect a few herbs and gossip with her friends. scoff. of course he approached second. 

emerson stepped back for him as he stepped forwards, and he offered his sister an affectionate nudge to the cheek. she seemed like she'd done well-- and grayson had caught the end of this niamh's speech. pretty little thing. "niamh blackthorn, of the redhawks," he purled with a heavy dip of his head. sure, her rank had no standing here, but he knew it was important elsewhere. he wouldn't step on any toes just for the hell of it. "my name is grayson odolf, alpha of this pack," he began, then paused and gave a roll of his shoulders, "at least, we plan to settle here, we will see if fate has the same plans for us." but it would, grayson was modest only for show. 

"we are rosings," he said with a flick of his tail, "what questions do you have of us?"
