It was freezing. That was his literal first thought and that alone pissed him off. He had woken up to the most bitter cold morning he had ever felt. The pads on his paws ached and the air stung his eyes and lungs as wind blew and made it even worse. "Fucks sake Winter, cut it out will ya?" he frumped out loud as he stood up and regretted it because now he felt the cold more. After a few moments of just glowering at the outside of his den he realised that Phex must be freezing, she was so teeny and small and how did she even manage-

He figured he would scoot over there and try to cozy up to her. The idea brought a smile to his lips and he stretched, muscles rippling before he set off trying to sniff the piebald girl out. Of course his intentions were pure, he just wanted to snuggle and try to maybe catch some more sleep, have a lazy day after patrolling and hunting and socializing. No way was he trying to just see how her body felt snuggled up against his, he definitely wasn't curious as to whether or not the smallness of her body or the shape of her youthful curves would fit to his like a puzzle piece.

He finally caught wind of her scent and began to track it, the breeze doing it's best to put him in a shitty mood again.
