weather be damned; Lena would still press on, even if it hurt, to get further and further away from home. it never occured to her as a child that she would ever leave. it seemed.. barbaric, to escape the safety and comfort of her pack. but circumstances proved painfully powerful, and here she was, lost on a plateau, alone.
the scent of many ungulates passed her nose and, while delightful, she passed the opprotunity. a single female wolf wasn't prepared to take down a hundred-pound deer by herself. fish, rabbits, carrion - all would do just fine. she lookeed out across the horizon and spotted another looking out, and felt a similar energy. Lena's smile was wide, and her tail wagged behind her.
