His head turned to the woman, the name he'd bestowed to her rolling off his lips. She even walked like a bear, and still, she kept eating! Or was it the season for pups? Now he thought about it, it was probably the latter. He grunted in soft amusement before lumbering over, lowering his muzzle to greet her. 

He breathed softly onto her muzzle, provided she held fast. He withdrew shortly, glad they'd found each other. She knew his name, that put him in a somewhat good mood. His spring mood was rather good this season. It was then he realised she'd been scared -- the wobble in her voice. Oh well, Cry got over it. His lips twitched upwards, his eyes like the leaves starting to sprout in the forest.
"What hurt you?" Well, a bear obviously, it seemed. It was clear she'd had a bear encounter and it was not good, alas he could try. He wondered if there was anyone else, other than the Arrowbella wolf who he'd not scented around much to his disappointment, who could teach him.
 It would come in useful for him to learn.
