Alpine Lake Take it step by step

Benedict's eyes scanned the surrounding area, mindful the presence of two wolves might scare away prey easily. the woman would sound confident, forming a plan right away. he'd nod to her before dropping into a crouch and move forward into the foliage. the lake didn't have much cover so he worked with what he could. luckily his fur could be mistaken as the gleam of the sun instead of an awkward sort of sign he was there. 

luck would have it as he spotted a group of rabbits. at the edge of the location, trying to go deeper into the heavily populated woodlands. he'd scoot around them as carefully as possible before he waited. a few minutes passed before his scent faded into the wind. the rabbits resumed their nibbling before he leapt out. a snarl would motivate them to scatter and he took off after one of the plumpest ones. driving it right toward the woman.
