A dark figure enters the waters, disrupting her field of vision without previous warning. At first Julep ignores her, preferring to keep to a mildly interesting crab rather than interrupting what looked like a serious brooding moment. She was having a hard time splitting open without damaging the crust anyway. But she had enough of it when the bastard decided to fight back and snapped at her snout with a wild pincer. She yapped, kicking the creature off her face and stomping on it as it falls on the sand, then turns away from it to wash off the blood off her lip.
She padded down into the shallows stopping just a few paces away from the dark one and dipped her snout in the water, flinching at the sting of the salt against her wound. She licks her lip a couple times when she pulls back up, too focused on her own situation until she realized the dark woman is still there, staring at her like some wild animal. Julep stares back realizing how she might have looked battling the crab back there, and awkwardly tries to shrug it off with a comment.

Bastard still had a lil fight left on him,as if that would make her look less beaten.
