For someone who was close to losing his life, Steph thought the male was moving extremely slow to get out of her home- the only thing in her mind that would save his life. As far as she was concerned, she had ever right to take it, and the fact that she was even giving him the option to leave was gracious on her part. His apologies meant nothing to her. "Sorry" would not make her cease her attack, and so she continued on. With each tear of the skin, she felt more and more satisfied, the smell of blood filling her nostrils.
She didn't register the fact that Marten had approached. He didn't join into the fight, and Steph was so focused on the intruder that she simply didn't see him. Most of his words didn't register through her aggression, and she continued on with the assault. The last sentence, however, did get through. She gave another nip at him, but then paused in her attack. Her stance was still aggressive, head and tail high, and she growled through exposed teeth. What was noseblind?
She eyed him, the expression on her face giving away her struggle as she grappled with whether she should continue her onslaught or consider his words to be true. After a few moments, she settled somewhere in the middle. You still have to get out, she said, her voice still conveying her caged aggression. Her head jutted in the direction he should go. That way, she instructed, expecting him to move. If he didn't, she would continue her attack. If he did, she would follow him, without nipping at him. Maybe if he was outside the borders, she might be more willing to hear his words.
