Whitefish River been a liar, been a thief

More and more, they were appearing outside the den and just beyond--now that they had better senses of awareness, and mobility to match. Syrma was no exception to this, although she was already showing an interest in the nighttime especially. Plus, she liked the big vast skies open overhead, no matter the hour. There seemed to be something familiar about it and she liked the comfort it brought her.

Anyway, this afternoon,  she wasn't setting out for any real reason except to go plodding after Spica's fresh trail and coming with a matching call of Spiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Naturally, she didn't know many words well yet, but her name and her sister's were some of them already. Especially Spica's.. but that aside, Syrma was sure to be extra generous on the obnoxious when she could hear her sister's roars up ahead, of course.

Eventually she could see her, so bounced along faster to go stick her nose in whatever she was up to--all yipping around and such, probably having a really good time; Syrma arrived with a small bark of her own, but had more questions than that.
