Though she felt her sister's distance sharpening, she tried to keep her focus on the prize and launched another big leap into the air after it--since it was staying higher now that it was thoroughly bothered by the pursuer, the butterfly avoided her easily. Despite all of her best efforts otherwise, the bug flitted just out of reach, gave a few teasing loops overhead, and finally winged off to less disruptive air-spaces.

With some shrieks of complaint about this, she stormed over the last few stretches of the chase until it slowly petered out and she could hear her sister calling her name. It was well out of her reach, however, and leaving more by the instant--so all she could do at this point was watch it go with a rueful stare. Next time, she vowed, and scowled as she turned back to go return to her sister's side and let her know what had happened in the end.

They could always find new ventures to take out their frustrations and energy on, assuming her twin was up to it after her tangling of course. So that was exactly what she suggested as soon as she could, and together, they were soon onto the next focus.
