Despite what the woman might have thought, Sam could find no fault in Andraste for leaving her children behind. It was true that he did not know the whole story; perhaps then his opinion might have changed. Perhaps not. Still, he offered:
I left my mommas, too,and leaned further against the stiffened body of the smaller woman, resting his chin upon her.
Is that such a crime?
