Daylily shook her head at Kora and took a deep breath. “No, it’s… it’s all right,” she assured her new friend. “I just don’t know how I didn’t think of the dangers before.” She was relieved when Kora agreed to go search for a place to start a garden. “There must be a clearing somewhere in the trees, right?” she asked. “That would be a good place for one. Maybe we can go look for a clearing?” She turned and headed farther into the trees, inviting Kora along with a swish of her tail and a glance over her shoulder.
