Ruvik followed obediently behind Augustus like a well trained dog, docile and silent. He trusted the man with his life, oblivious to the terrible acts he has committed and the twisted darkness the lurked beneath his gentle blue gaze. Paradise. That was where he was leading them to, and not for one moment did Ruvik take him for a liar or con. For he had been kind to them all so far, and the monstrous cougar had provided for them just as readily.

And there she was now; beautiful and monstrous and awe-inspiring all at once. Their nurturer. Their protector. Their Savior. At her beastly paws lay a goat, slain. A sacrifice. A gift for her children. The Savior gives.

Both Omerus and Ruvik waited until Augustus had taken the first bite before they too moved forward to feast. As the other remaining follower did so with feverous desire, Ruvik nervously glanced back up at The Savior, who had withdrew and now watched them from the shadows. He was still, jaws slightly parted and watching with a thousand yard stare, captivated by her gleaming, golden, all-knowing gaze. Though the longer he peered, the more that gaze seemed to shift. It turned from mild interest to something more predatory, eager. Hungry. His heart began to thrum in a panic; soon it would be his time. Soon his awful screams would join the chorus of the many others before him as they were devoured by the fearsome being. Soon he would be the offering. The Savior takes.

Ensnared by her gaze, it was only the sudden loud crack of a bone that threw him from his stupor. Ruvik started, blinking, before glancing down at the goat with a wondrous look. Right. They would need their strength for their journey. Placing a hesitant paw on the hindquarters of their meal, the boy too eventually joined the feast.
Ruvik is a limited consent character, which means you don't need my consent to inflict damage (anything goes — except outright killing him)!
