mei had become obsessed with that moon cave ever since she discovered it. nearly every night, she visited it to pray, then basked in moonlight by the pristine water. she'd fallen asleep there on several occasions because she felt so comfortable, so at peace.

dusk was upon them, so she made her way along the beach to the sacred grounds once again. it'd become part of her schedule to do so.
