Stavanger Bay forever and always

Thistle watched as his ears slicked back and hadn’t even realized that he would have thought she was speaking of him until just that moment. He didn’t hear a word she said she didn’t think far too lost in his own thoughts. She studied him for a moment with concern. When he came back to reality she was staring at him at a loss. Are you okay? I wasn’t talking about you just then. I was talking of someone else. Someone my mother knew. She grew quiet then not sure if she wished to tell him or anyone really of her mother and the abuse she suffered, finding it uncomfortable to speak about when it was her story not Thistle’s.

Because Thistle’s head had been down as she spoke, she did not see him part his maw to say anything. It was probably a good thing for him that he didn’t speak what had been in his mind. Thistle did not belong to anyone; she was not an item to be passed from ownership to ownership. She was a free woman, her own being. She could make choices, she had feelings and thoughts and opinions and that alone probably would have made her a little angry. She did however notice his slight annoyance on the matter. She tilted her head and looked at him, as she sat down to her haunches, her tail sliding back and forth across the ground content at the moment.

Thistle snorted at her husband Ragnar, Gyda beats up her brothers. Granted I think they let her, but she gives as much as she takes. I believe she is much stronger than we think and honestly her quietness I believe was merely her throwing a hissy fit because we moved.
