The stranger stopped promptly, giving Yami some time to sidle up to her. She saw the warning in the posturing, but brushed it aside. She wasn't planning to get that close anyway. There was something regal about the stranger in spite of her apparent youth. Yami was intrigued. Sort of. Okay not really, but she needed a distraction so she forced it.
"Hi," Yami greeted with a smile, hesitating only briefly at the odd way the girl had said the word herself, "I've not seen you this way before. You a pack wolf?" Not that Yami knew everyone who wandered the wilds as a lone wolf, but most she'd come across (whether she'd engaged in a conversation or not) were less... distinct. Plus, the comment made her sound popular and knowledgeable. She liked that.
