Greyson had travelled in a western direction, away from Sagtannet. Stalking quietly through the tall grasses, the large male was making it his mission to better acquaint himself with his new surroundings. The sooner he created a mental map of the landscape, the better he would one day be able to navigate it.
The sharp peaks of the mountains still loomed over him to the east, casting a long shadow which dominated over the vast expanse of grassland. It made for a cooler climate, welcomed by Greyson who had no wish to swelter beneath the glaring rays of the sun that beat down overhead.
Within the tall grass the grey male was well camouflaged, his large figure concealed behind the gently swaying blades. The breeze brought with it the scents of all which surrounded him. He could pick out the smells of small creatures, along with the odour of another like him. He had not intended to seek company, yet here he was.
Greyson could now spot the honeyed figure of the male not too far in the distance, carrying a large bulky object between his jaws. He could have chose to ignore him and continue on his way, yet something in him urged the male to approach. "Nice find you have there!" Greyson called out from a safe distance, his tail waving in casual greeting as eyed small bison skull.
