most of the statement went without being understood. famine didn't know what hyde was, and he didn't really understand the whole bone-in-wolf thing yet. still, he could tell by tone that whatever the threat meant, he couldn't let it slide. well.. well — he stumbled through his words, searching for a good comeback; he couldn't lose two arguments in one day! — i can bite you! famine didn't give the beast any time to react before bounding forward with needle-like teeth aimed at the skin above its hoof.
