Ok, I figured it out. They weren't showing on the 'SFW' Theme. I switched it and the avatars are showing again. My bad!
character at a glance
 roaming western side of Tuktu Hinterlands as of 6/8/20.
underweight/weak from extensive travel and lack of food.
