He was accepted. This place...somewhere he was only beginning to discover held so much potential. Potential was, however, only what one decided to make it. Soleon would do his absolute best to make sure he gave the best of him to these that had offered him a place among them. There was an obvious excitement about him as he traversed the fields. Mountains encumbered him and reminded him that he stood in a place of protection. It was beautiful here. A medic's dream. There were fields abundant with different flora. Water that offered home to much greenery. It was all so unique and unknown to him.
He had settled in a den he had made among the trees. It was draped in the plush moss he had been found with when Spook happened upon him. He did his best to not dress himself with plants. It was, admittedly, an odd sight to place before another that did not share his love for plants and for healing. Soleon was an advocate of life.
And today his own needed nourishment. Toes wriggled in the wed lake bed as he stood in the waters. They swelled to his chest in a gentle roll and bathed the underside of his belly. His ears pressed back as he looked into the depths. Fishing had always been a more preferable means of 'hunting' and he had a soft spot for a good catch. It was far tastier, to him, than anything that walked the land. He licked his lips tastefully and waited for the special glint that would eventually arrive. Total silence was the only thing that existed around him now. He bathed in the silence and for once it were the welcoming kind.
