The Masterless Knight

The strange wolf seemed to small into a new posture, and dubbed her "m'lady". With an arch of her brow, Paarthurnax paused in her tracks a short distance away to observe the male's unusual actions. When it became aware that he was not going to turn his head to look her way, Paar felt rather uneasy. She looked around, confused, and carefully backed away.

The arrival of another did nothing to set her at ease. She eyed him curiously, uncertain if he too would perform oddly in her presence, but he proved her wrong. He announced his name as Adair, and his expression seemed friendly enough, and intrigued her with his talk of what she assumed to be Shadow's new territory. " I'm Paarthurnax, " the young Frostfur said gently, and fixed her copper eyes to the saluting form of the silver loner. "Is there a reason why you're... Uh... Doing that?"
