Northstar Vale Childhood Dreams

Hotaru. 

Her friend had been wandering and they hadn't spent any real time together in a while - for good reasons. Isadora didn't know the details, but something big had gone down and it didn't seem like something "normal", judging by the adults' reactions. The young empress' scent traveled across of Isadora's path and this time, the bi-colored girl followed. 

Careful paws carrying her quietly through the grass, not wanting to take Hotaru by surprise but definitely wanting to see her before walking up to her. Isa wasn't confident in her social abilities just yet, but she liked to think she was getting better at when was a good idea to approach. 

—and there she was. She looked so sad. Other things too but they were too complicated for Isadora to understand right now, all she could see was sadness, there had to be a better word for what she saw... it was worse than sad. Heavier. She wanted to be there for her friend; a need that tugged on her and brought every slow, cautious, step forward. Hi Hotaru. Ears flat, she approached from the side and kept a little distance to not crowd the young lady.

She paused, waiting for a response.
