Hideaway Strath If it wasn't for bad luck...

I had trouble figuring out what to do with her.. she wanted to run several different ways

She watched him size her up, but for what? Her own eyes roamed down to his large paws and slowly back up to his face. Her head did it’s tiny left tilt as the rich tones of his voice reached her again. She committed his name to memory and drew air in to lock his scent to his name. His question caught her though, it was her name, hers and hers alone, as was her past, that to was hers and hers alone, she felt her vocal cords vibrate for half a breath, though barely a rumble escaped. Not quiet a growl or even a warning, just perhaps discontent. She closed the distance between her posture was at ease and her tail hung relaxed.

“Your name, sounds as strong as you look. My name is not quiet so noble” Despite his aura of strength and the obvious ability to back himself up her eyes locked onto his. She would challenge him for this information, not that it was precious to her, indeed it was not; but if he wanted to know then he’d have to give to get. Suddenly she realized her actions might be misconstrued, her eyes widened and her slow even breath may have hitched just barely before she regained control of her expression, She started this course of actions and her pride would not let her back down now. Maybe if he was not paying full attention he might have missed it, but then she was staring into his yellow eyes.
