The sun glared brightly over head, for which the young woman had no notion. The thick brush overhead preventing most light from reaching the damp undergrowth. Padma walked silently, the leaves underfoot rotting and decaying, damp from the rain, yet chilly from the low temperatures. Winter was well on its way, there were no doubts to be had about it. And a cold winter it would be, she could feel it in her bones as she walked. She was environmentally empathic, she understood the forest better then most. The only positive trait she had learned from the Morningside pack, as nature loving as they were.
Padma and grown a thick distaste for winter. Her limbs were often to thin for comfort, and she rarely had a suitable place to wait out the cold. Not to mention, there was a distinct lack of plants. In the months since she was last in the wilds, Padma had found a love for plants and there more... deadly applications. Alas she was having trouble gathering any here. She had just missed the peak season, and now she was left scavenging for what she wanted.

"it is if everyone dies alone."
"Does that scare you?"
"i don't want to be alone."
