Blacktail Deer Plateau By the beat of my heart

Not only was Osprey a reasonably good and proud storyteller, she was also an enthusiastic listener. No matter, how great or horrible the story was, she found beauty in every one of them. She sat quietly, her gaze fixed on Willow's muzzle, but her eyes wore a far-off expression. As if she was seeing something others could not, which was true. She saw vividly images of heron and hummingbird competing, could hear their voices, catch smell of the flowers and listened to the rush of the river. Osprey was there, completely immersed in the story - an observer, an actor, switching roles between the two lead characters.

It was a while after Blue Willow had finished her story, that Osprey slowly came back to the reality. Her eyes were still dreamy and her expression reflected the inner joy she felt, for at that moment she had traveled through time and space and had seen something other's hadn't. Imagination was a wonderful gift and she had plenty of it. Osprey blinked few times, shook her head lightly and then looked up at her friend brightly: "This was wonderful!" There wasn't much more to say. "My turn, I guess. Name five words that come to your mind and I will make up a story for you," she said with a glint of excitement for a new challenge in her voice.
