It was the early morning and she was already up. Having washed quickly and prepared herself with a prayer to her gods, Zola would promise them to have Easthollow's best interests in heart. So this morning she would patrol. It was an important part of being in a community - pack or tribe.

And if she had to do it alone, she would. Roaming to the border of the pack's land, she noted the tall standing stones with subtle awe. Did the gods here place them? Were they a wonder of nature? She would have to seek out someone who knew so she could ask.

Yet it was not important right now. Zola stretched idly, shaking her back paws one by one. Just as she prepared to march up and down the border, she spotted another approaching.
