"Yes - am new" came her reply to the friendly greeting. Zola's tail wagged slowly behind her, accustomed to the friendliness of Easthollow thus far. "am Zola Abara." she dips her head to Polaris respectfully. The woman was not... familiar with ranks, but she knew this was a polite thing to do. 

Tribe did not have ranks. Pack had ranks. Tribe had classes of work. Pack had superiority. Zola would work hard - as she had always done - to achieve anything she wanted. Right now, all she wanted was to be part of their family. Her amber eyes shifted to the border. "Was going to, ah, patrol? Wish to join?" she asked her new companion.
