Nutmeg had been a ways off, sitting under a tree and scratching her ear, since that was about as much as a wolf could do to be the equivalent of some troublesome youth loitering around looking for trouble. Wasn't like there were any corners she could lurk around on and graffiti something in an alley. However, she'd heard someone coming her way, so boredom suggested she go and check it out. It didn't take long before she spotted the guy -- not someone familiar.

Then again, if they were supposed to have met in passing, it was very likely Nutmeg just simply didn't care enough to pay attention to who the guy was and remember. Yeah, uh. She wasn't always the most socially adept creature. As was proven by her "greeting" of, So, who're you? accompanied with a somewhat skeptical glance. Adults generally weren't too fun. And though now she might be as big as them, she still thought there was a strong divide between the two.
