Swiftcurrent Creek the sunstone

She's looking for @Bazi, but all welcome. :) Set on 9/12.

Kaskara had arrived back in the creek pack's territory late last night, howling briefly to let Bazi, Scimitar, and her other pack-mates know she had made it back safely, before hunkering down for a long night's sleep. The next morning she woke rested, but still tired and sore from her travels. Kaskara had been gone nearly seven days on her trek from the creek to Stavanger Bay and back, with a stop at the plateau in between.

There was much she needed to tell Bazi today, though she didn't know if the white dove would be around. She had learned much about Stavanger Bay, about the fate of Horizon Ridge, and about a new pack forming on the coast made up of women. Kaskara's head almost buzzed with all this new information, and she needed to share it with her leader sooner rather than later.

Instead of hurrying to her, Kas was taking a leisurely stroll along the creek, enjoying the morning's sunshine and cool temperatures as she stretched her sore muscles.
