Oh thank god he didn't acknowledge any of what just happened, and just moved on to something she knew something about.  Me too, she says, although by looking at her he probably couldn't tell.  If she'd come out looking more like her father or her sister it would make sense for her to be from up north, but Puffin was a scraggly, leggy little thing in comparison to her family and most of the locals from her homeland, too.  Maybe not as far as you, though.  His coat was even thicker than papa's, or even Tango's.
