@Kukutux @Sialuk hi! im not sure if this is an accurate depiction of the territory or not but just point out anything that needs changing and i‘ll be happy to oblige! (set for 06/21/2021, c. 5:30 PM. since wolves can travel up to 100 miles in a day i decided to just post a joining thread off the bat since anii will be entering teekon via the southern end of gbw/kintla. plus im just rlly excited! <3)
When at last the pale vagabond planned to cease her wandering for the day, the afternoon had trickled into the conception of twilight and Chumanii had set her sights on the distant ring of low mountains to the north. The winterwhite had kept the impassable heights of the western range over her left shoulder as she traveled that day, the path that kept her ceaselessly moving north through the low valleys forged from whim rather than a fixed destination or determination. Nothing about the glens or rock formations she’d come across thus far had called to the southerner but the circle of short peaks seemed a promising place to bed down for the night. But then, she was banking on the chance that the mountains were uninhabited and hospitable.
The ivory femme circled along the fringes of the summits’ base until she came upon an opening in the stone walls, a narrow passsage leading into the sanctuary she presumed was beyond. Presuming since it was here that the she-wolf was able to detect the heavy layers of an established boundary, peering wordlessly from a safe distance. From her vantage point there wasn’t much to see, as the threshold of the pass was soon overtaken by the thick snares of evergreen sentinels that shrouded the claim from spying eyes — even benevolent ones like Chumanii’s rose gold gaze.
The snowbird hovered indecisively for a prolonged moment, limbs quivering once where she stood in still deliberation as if her paws weren’t sure where they wanted to go. At last, a thought popped into her head and she decided to howl — polite, neutral tones echoing softly through the stone in a wordless call asking for an audience. Almost as if to imply that this was a request made only under the condition that it wouldn’t trouble any of the mountain’s inhabitants too much. If no one turned up, she’d take that as a sign that the pack was busy and to keep moving.
Maybe she could find out more about this land by speaking with these wolves, get a lay of the region or at least a name for the ground she stood on. Someone might even be able to point her in the right direction — the right direction for what, even Anii couldn’t have said.
and run free under starlight.
