In a short period of time, much had changed - again - for Wayfarer and her brother. Being a curious and confident child, however, she was relatively unphased by their uprooting from the whelping chamber. The rendezvous meant better access to the world beyond their den, and there was still many more wonderful things waiting to be found.

Just as she'd been growing accustomed to a new environment, however, her mother had taken temporary leave of her brood. As such Wayfarer and her brother were returned to where they'd initially come from, and this left her utterly confused.

She sulked that afternoon after slipping away out of the dens, and lay sprawled among the grasses with a miserable expression on her face.
