that was...such a small amount to use. he immediately hoped he never had to use it. at least until he was not more advance in his knowledge.

a welcomed distraction came in the way of having to present skill now. he had not thought he would actually use anything on his first day but Mahler was kind enough to dump his wealth of knowledge into poor Ålesund.

okay. he steadied himself with a deep breath. he figured his best bet was to use his mouth. no dangerous side effects had been warned of. perhaps on his tongue it might ooze some of its relaxing properties into him.

delicately he took a head of chamomile into his mouth. gently rolled it around on his tongue as he mentally reminded himself to not eat it. then gnashed it between his molars, his saliva mixing with the ground chamomile to make the start of a paste.

in a few moments more, he would be able to smooth it against the roof of his mouth and his tongue, to open his jaws and present the paste to Mahler.
