The cold bit at her nose like that old lady had. She rubbed her nose to warm it up. Who the hell had decided for the weather to be this cold? She groaned lightly and huffed out her fur to keep warm. She had been walking for a while, keeping warm like that and seeking shelters in the woods, but now she was in the open meadow, watching the mesa (though she wasn't aware that was its name). She curled her toes up under herself to keep them from falling off.
Makatza had never heard of Akashingo, she was completely out of the loop with anything pack related. She knew there was a claimed territory nearby, she had scented it, but she had stayed away. She wasn't about to join in on the fun of another pack with high expectations of her. She wanted her freedom, her life to be her own. She was an unruly child and wasn't about to become any better.
She was sitting there minding her own business as she watched another individual cross the meadow. She didn't say anything to him and just minded her own business. Until he came closer - closer. His eyes only looking at the mesa. "Hey! Watch where you are going" Makatza snapped toward him to keep him at bay, wondering why the idiot didn't keep his eyes on the ground he was walking on. She almost had to jump out of the way, but no way she would. She wasn't moving for some peasant who had two functioning eyes.
Actually she wasn't moving for anyone.
