Religion was something that often drove wolves apart. It has distanced her from some of her own siblings, Sahrotaar most of all, who held firmly to the beliefs of their Persian father. Paarthurnax instead clung to her mother's dragon lore, the tales she and some of her brothers had been named for, for Nita had presented them to her as just that: stories passed through generations of the Desono family. And although Nita had bore the surname of her sire, she still held that lore close to her heart just as Paarthurnax did. It was important to her to share it with her own pups, but wished to give them the opportunity to follow their own path.
