the reaction from the boy alone was enough to confirm germanicus' story in ingrid's mind.  the tale of violence was enough to cause her hackles to raise.  the entirety of her body language made it clear what she thought of wolves who kidnapped and trespassed: ingrid had no room for this kind of behavior.  she would not stand for it.

i think he knows.  i will be careful, too. she was more concerned about his worry than for her safety.
