Night had fallen soon after they had descended from the mountains into a snow-covered valley. They had been traveling all day, and it would be safer to stop for the night and pick up again in the morning. Plus, he figured they could both use some rest. 

There was a cave at the base of the mountain that seemed like the perfect place for them to camp for the night. Tuulu slowed to a stop near the opening and nipped at the side of Lane's neck.
