After doing as instructed and letting the moss sit over Aquene's wound, Malila watched her to make sure she was holding up alright. The whole time her heart beat in her chest, the sound pulsing in her ears. It was unlike her to be so eerily silent.

Only when Aquene addressed her, did Malila snap out of her daze. Mismatched eyes found their way to the injured medic's face. "Y-yeah, I'm fine." Physically, at least. She was lucky not to have a mark on her. "I guess I got off easy in that he did not lay a tooth on me." And that's all it was. Pure luck. "If you don't need anything else, then I will be in my den. I need to settle my nerves after today." Her voice refused to falter, despite how rattled she truly was. Then, if not stopped, Malila took her leave.
