She had been a wraith, these last few weeks; her devotion had been to both the Sea and the marking of this sacred place. Their numbers had dwindled, but Aktaie did not fear -- this meant they were only rid of those less committed to their divine purpose. If they returned, she would grant them harbor, provided their reasoning was commendable... If not, they would be punished. She had no use for those that were flighty, frightened by a brief and lulling tide.

But it was time, now, with their scent strong in the sound. It was time to make the lands surrounding the deep cut in the coast to tremble in wake of their might. With the song of one of her last remaining recruits - almost hilariously, one not of pure Nereides blood - rising into the air, her turquoise eyes flashed with an odd mixture of passion and mischief.

She arrived swiftly, bestowing the other female with a look that didn't quite hide her approval. Aktaie paid little heed to the male, but greeted the other expectantly, "Caiaphas?"
