Deepwood Weald Just by a Hare

new character, not a new player

She was running. Hot on the tail of a well-sized hare leaping from side to side trying to evade her capture. She was glued to it. Following its every move as it leed her into the Deepwood Weald. As they jumped over a log and into the heavy foliage and ferns of the area her line of sight became obscured. Following the flashes here and there of light gray fur. Deafening rustling ensued as the hare, barely large enough to jump over such plants weaved its way through the large tree trunks and increased its gain. So focused she hadn't realized the fog creeping in around her, or she didn't care.

Then a sharp turn. She didn't see it but she heard it. Rustling to her right as she too took a sharp turn trying to decipher the location of her dinner. Then another rustle even further to her right as she widened her turn. Then... something behind her? She stopped in her tracks and listed. Two rustling sounds and which belongs to her prey she wasn't sure. They both faded away and she frustratingly stomped her front paw into the ground. Looking around at the forest she thought to herself 'No fair. Who the heck could catch anything in these conditions.'
