was very vague because i'm not sure if @Dionysus is still traveling with him or not.
he finally made it back to the glacier; a miasma of emotions brewing beneath his skin, sitting hot and heavy in his chest. all the while: the question 'what was wrong with the glacier?' revolves 'round and 'round his head as he makes his way by sheer muscle memory alone to the burial place of his parents.
alone, the grave was left to rot: left to scavengers and gravediggers. once more, arius is filled with the hot rage of the fact that changing everything his father had built was a giant 'fuck you'. there was nothing of it ( as far as arius cared to see ) that remained wintersbane's original vision.
if issorartuyok wanted to make a pack his own: why hadn't he left and just started over? instead of corrupting what wintersbane had made for his own children? more and more, arius is assured that leaving is the right decision for him. he does not agree with ...anything happening and no longer felt that he, as one of wintersbane's heirs, had any role to play in it.
where that leaves him ... he hoped he might figure out. it's that thought that draws him to the grave of his parents, settling into a sphinx-like position beside it as he contemplates it all.
arius is a very unreliable narrator. he twists events / things said to him to fit his own narrative. it is, in no shape or form personal, and not a reflection of me OOCly.
