forward dated about two-ish days. path is roughly something like this, referencing the territories near that path.

she cut through from the creek, briefly split from the waterways.

how odd, she thought, that the woman would be so pressed about two loners just to have a group across the weir. but minne continued on, unless more strangers came to swing down on her with false claims.

in the sweep she found another waterway. a river cut and separated woodlands. the other side inhabited. how absolutely insane, she thought.

she had been on the doorstep of not one but, now, three different groups!

and to think that woman had thought she could call the creek her hunting grounds. such a claim was false and proven so by such close neighbors. no land here would sustain any group for long if they all plucked and plucked from neighboring lands. the fish would avoid streams, the deer would not graze, birds would migrate elsewhere.

she scoffed.

her path would pluck her north along the stream, away from the strath.
