once, a very long time ago, inkalorë heard the stars sing. they hadn't been inkalorë then. it'd been a different time, a different identity, and though the starseeker had long since shed that skin, at times they felt the echo of its fit. at times they could almost hear the stars singing.all lyrics will be from purity ring bc im not writing songs for my wolf posts i refuse
the glen, a favorite haunt for the solitary adolescent, shimmered with the promise of that music. a hundred fireflies dancing in the night, a hundred tiny stars cast down like a blessing on the earth. inkalorë drifted among them, the faerie prince crowned in gilded light. their own song swelled in their chest and spilled over, a feathersoft melody curling into the empty night.
"it feels like a ghost town in here;
the clicking of the rocks fall and where
beholden to the dust that adheres,
i will layеr the stillness and i'll cover your еars"
