She led her twins out of the den for a little excursion. They had been getting into trouble on their own without her supervision, but she had yet to do any adventures with them. Today that would change. She walked to the river, slowly, enough for them to walk alongside her. She would show them the animals and plants, teaching them the words in French and English, as well as having fun with the pair.
Erika paused when she heard a croak close to her paw. Looking down, she saw a bullfrog, sitting in the grass. Curiously, the mother prodded it, chuckling as it puffed up in response to her touch. "Zis iz a frog, une grenouille. Un ouaouaron, a bullfrog, in particular." she said, prodding it again in the hopes that it would hop away so she could teach them the word, but instead was rewarded with a high-pitched scream.
