thresher's good deeds would not reach the coy fast enough. evermore's teeth would beat her to it and sink into whatever flesh she managed to grab ahold of. her brain lacked reasoning to care, but for meridian's sake, this bite would not take long to manifest the disease. it was upon his scruff where teeth sank, and thankfully not close enough where she could choke him with her hold.
this would give him enough time to try and wrestle away from her, by use of his body or his mouth. the uncoordinated and rabid being would eventually let go in an attempt to grab more but fell to her knees once again. this would be a critical window for escape. the blood tasted like nothing within her mouth and against her tongue, yet the disease would force her to continue the chase until the two would be out of sight.
