kukulkaan makes a low rumble of agreement in their chest; like coming thunder.
blood red and emerald green ferns fall beneath their paws, cutting a path to find their path back.

this one agrees,ajaw replies, frostbound gaze snapping to a lone doe that spooked, darts off deeper into the territory.
prey is plentiful.
but it does not call to them and thus, it is not right.
but the land does not sing to this one. it does not feel sacred.arguably, any territory they claim could be considered sacred ... but they listen for the singing in the earth, in the wind. here, among these ferns and spindly trees, the earthsong is absent.
kukulkaan & my writing are entirely experimental.
can be assumed he is speaking in yucatec mayan to his holcan; mayan will be denoted as speech. any of the holcan is welcome in all of ku's threads.
