As free as the wind

The moon fills Rain with strength as she jumps from one cliff to another. She loves this feeling of danger, knowing that one misstep can send her tumbling down the side of the mountain. Even now she pauses to study her next jump down a steep slope to a worn path below.

Body tense, she pushes off the cliff ledge while sticking her forelegs out to take the impact. Shock waves jolt up her forelegs as she lands, causing her to clench her teeth. Her back paws come up beneath her to keep herself from falling forward on her face. She skids to a halt, shaking from fatigue and begins to pant. The goal of jumping around on cliffs is to bring her stamina up, but it is wearing her out quickly.

Laying down to rest, she notices a glimpse of white fur passing by. "Hey!" She calls out to it. "Over here!"
