Granted there would always be a small space that was fractured, and she would always miss Atticus. And she hoped that some day he would come back, whole and healthy and ready to love her again. However, she also had to admit that regardless of how much she loved him, how much she wished him here he was gone, and he had been for a few weeks, he probably wasn't coming back this time. Her luck wasn't that good.
