Ankyra Sound Coming of Age

Theo lifted his head abruptly, startled. Someone else was here, and they were singing. It sounded like his language but with a heavy accent. Through the darkness, he squinted trying to make them out. What he saw though, was like nothing he'd seen before. He blinked and shook his head to try to make the image clearer. He must be seeing things wrong because of the night. He took a few steps closer though and their appearance didn't change. The other animal there had thick and long locks of what looked like maybe fur, draped over their whole body. He couldn't tell if they were a wolf or a dog or a canine at all. "Hello..?" Theo said tentatively.
